     John Leach was born on the Leach farm at Rial-side in Salem, Essex Co., Massachusetts.2,3 He was baptized on 4 December 1737 at the Second Congregational Church in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts, (the Leach genealogy says 11 October 1724 in Salem).1,3 He married Sarah Chipman, daughter of John Chipman and Rebecca Hale, on 11 March 1744.3 He died "at the camp near Lake George" in 1755.4,3
     He served as an Ensign in the British army, apparently in 1755. He is listed in a muster roll dated 28 February 1756 in Capt. Samuel Flint's Co., and "entered service 9 Sept., served until 30 Oct., length of service 7 weeks 3 days." The year of service isn't given, but the endorsement 1755 is present, and he was reported as "Died." This company was part of Col. Plaisted's Regt. in the Crown Point expedition.3

     Nathan Leach was born on 13 March 1733 on the Leach farm at Rial-side in Salem, Essex Co., Massachusetts.3 He was baptized on 4 December 1737 at the Second Congregational Church in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1 He married Anna Herrick on 28 November 1756.2 He died on 11 February 1813 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts, at age 79.4,2 He was buried on 15 February 1813 at Central Cemetery in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.5,6
     He was active among the Whigs early in the Revolution, and a member of the Committee of Correspondence and Safety.2

     Jonathan Leach was born on 20 November 1735 on the Leach farm at Rial-side in Salem, Essex Co., Massachusetts.3 He was baptized on 4 December 1737 at the Second Congregational Church in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1 He married Deborah Warren, daughter of John Warren and Elizabeth Chipman, on 17 February 1760.4 He died while serving in the Continental Army on 20 December 1777 at age 42.4
     He enlisted in the Continental Army on 13 February 1777, and served in Capt. Billy Porter's Co., Col. Ebenezer Francis's Regt., and as a Sergeant in Capt. Porter's Co., Col. Benjamin Tupper's Regt.4

     Joseph Leach was born on 20 September 1743 on the Leach farm at Rial-side in Salem, Essex Co., Massachusetts.2 He was baptized on 2 October 1743 at the Second Congregational Church in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1 He married Joanna Woodbury, daughter of Andrew Woodbury and Joanna Dodge, on 2 January 1770.3
     He was captured during the Revolution and sent to Pembroke Prison in 1779, then to Mill Prison on 14 October 1780. He and 14 others were loaded onto a man-of-war on 5 June 1781, but never arrived home. His mother's will says "he has long been missing and she is afraid of never hearing from him again."3 On 13 April 1786 Asa Leach was appointed administrator of his estate, and Nathan Leach was named guardian of his children Huldah and Andrew.3

     Jonathan Raymond was born in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1 He married Hepzibah Leach, daughter of Samuel Leach and Hepzibah Rea, on 14 January 1728.1 He died on 9 August 1760 in Lexington, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts.1
     He and his wife Hepzibah were admitted to the church in Lexington, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, on 9 May 1756, after being released from the church in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1

     Joseph Fiske was born on 18 October 1726 in Lexington, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts.1 He married Hepzibah Raymond, daughter of Jonathan Raymond and Hepzibah Leach, on 13 December 1751.1 He died on 8 January 1808 in Lexington, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, at age 81.1

     He was listed as a member of Capt. Parker's Co. on 19 April 1775.1 He was shot by a Britich soldier "in a cowardly and brutal manner" at Munroe Tavern.1
