     Alvin Hildreth married Mary Herrick, daughter of Jonathan Herrick and Lydia Wallis, on 4 March 1827.1 He died on 24 September 1827 (Beverly vital records say 4 September 1827) in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.2,3
     He and Mary had one known child, Mary Elisabeth (b 9 February 1828, d 19 September 1849).2

     Betsey Herrick was born on 12 November 1794 in Gloucester, Essex Co., Massachusetts.3,4 She was baptized on 16 November 1794 at the Second Church in Gloucester, Essex Co., Massachusetts.4 She married Jonathan Herrick, son of Jonathan Herrick and Lydia Wallis, on 14 March 1824 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.2 She died on 27 April 1850 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts, at age 55.1
     She and Jonathan had the following known children: Martha (d 6 June 1842 at age 18), Lydia Frances (b 30 October 1828, d 23 December 1891), Emeline Augusta (b 11 July 1834), William Elbridge (b 28 September 1836, d 17 March 1892), Rebecca Nayson (b 19 June 1838).5,6

     Elisabeth Wallis was born on 19 July 1767 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1,2
     She may have married Joshua Foster on 27 July 1788 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts. Transcribed Beverly Vital Records list the marriage of Joshua Foster and Betsey Wallis on 27 July 1788, but it's unclear which Betsey (or Elizabeth) Wallis this is. Beverly Vital Records also list the death of Elisabeth Foster, wife of Joshua, from dysentery on 1 November 1795 at age 28. The two primary candidates (there may be others) are thus Elisabeth Wallis, daughter of John Wallis and Anna Thorndike, born 19 July 1767 (age 28 years, 3 months, 13 days when Joshua's wife died on 1 November 1795), and Elizabeth Wallis, daughter of Daniel Wallis and Elizabeth Lovett, born 8 April 1768 (27 years, 6 months, 24 days on 1 November 1795). Beverly town clerk records for these two families include notes added later for both families indicating that the daughter Elizabeth married Joshua Foster on 27 Jul 1788.3,4

     Adams Smith was born on 26 April 1759 in Ipswich, Essex Co., Massachusetts.2,3 He was baptized on 29 April 1759 in Ipswich, Essex Co., Massachusetts.2 He married Anna Wallis, daughter of John Wallis and Anna Thorndike, on 9 November 1783 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1,4 He died in February 1789 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts, at age 29 from pulmonary consumption (i.e., tuberculosis).3 He was buried on 26 February 1789.3

     John Kettle was born about 1755 (based on his age at death of 46).2 He was married by Joseph McKeen to Anna Wallis, daughter of John Wallis and Anna Thorndike, on 6 November 1794 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.3,1 He died on 4 March 1801 in Danvers, Essex Co., Massachusetts.4
     He and Anna had one known child, John (b 20 January 1798).5

     Samuel Goodridge was born on 27 May 1748 in Wenham, Essex Co., Massachusetts.3 He married first Elizabeth Page on 15 October 1772 in Danvers, Essex Co., Massachusetts.3 He married second Anna Wallis, daughter of John Wallis and Anna Thorndike, on 11 May 1806 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1,4,3 He died from asthma and dropsy on 26 March 1820 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts, at age 71.5
     He served during the Revolutionary War, first as a lieutenant in Capt. Rogers' company, and later as a captain in Gen. Henry Dearborn's brigade during Benedict Arnold's Quebec expedition in 1775. He also served in the 1779 campaign.3 He was also a member of the committee of correspondence and public safety in Essex Co., Massachusetts.3

     Joshua Foster probably married either Elisabeth Wallis, daughter of John Wallis and Anna Thorndike, or Elizabeth Wallis, daughter of Daniel Wallis and Elizabeth Lovett, on 27 July 1788 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.
     Transcribed Beverly Vital Records list the marriage of Joshua Foster and Betsey Wallis on 27 July 1788, but it's unclear which Betsey (or Elizabeth) Wallis this is. Beverly Vital Records also list the death of Elisabeth Foster, wife of Joshua, from dysentery on 1 November 1795 at age 28. The two primary candidates (there may be others) are thus Elisabeth Wallis, daughter of John Wallis and Anna Thorndike, born 19 July 1767 (age 28 years, 3 months, 13 days when Joshua's wife died on 1 November 1795), and Elizabeth Wallis, daughter of Daniel Wallis and Elizabeth Lovett, born 8 April 1768 (27 years, 6 months, 24 days on 1 November 1795). Beverly town clerk records for these two families include notes added later for both families indicating that the daughter Elizabeth married Joshua Foster on 27 Jul 1788.2,3
