     Leah Fouts was born on 26 February 1864 (the Wolf/Cripe genealogy says 25 February 1864) in St. Clair Co., Missouri.^3,1 She married Jacob Wise, son of Samuel Wise and Elizabeth Studebaker, on 19 February 1894 in Clinton Co., Indiana.¹ She died on 6 April 1917 in Carroll Co., Indiana, at age 53.^1,3 She was buried at the Wise Cemetery in Carroll Co., Indiana.^3,1
     She and her husband Jacob and their family moved to near Minot, Ward Co., North Dakota, sometime between 1900 and 1902.¹ About five or six years later, in 1907, they moved again, to the "Hardscrabble community" near Sawyer, Pratt Co., Kansas.¹ They later moved back to Carroll Co., Indiana.¹ She and Jacob had the following known children: Minnie Mable (b 22 April 1898, d 8 May 1964), David S., John Henry, Mary Elizabeth.^1,3

     Adam Blocher was born on 12 September 1873 in Indiana.^2,3 He married first Elizabeth Wise, daughter of Samuel Wise and Elizabeth Studebaker, on 8 August 1899 in Carroll Co., Indiana.^1,2 He married second Ethel Rosetta Deardorff.² He died on 11 September 1956 in Carroll Co., Indiana, at age 82.^2,3 He was buried at the Wise Cemetery in Carroll Co., Indiana.^3,2

     Anna May Blocher was born near Largo, Wabash Co., Indiana. Her birth date is given as 27 April 1833, but this is obviously an error, perhaps a typo for 1883.² She married Moses Wise, son of Samuel Wise and Elizabeth Studebaker, on 22 March 1903 in Carroll Co., Indiana.¹ She died on 6 September 1981 at her son Simon's home in Modesto, Stanislaus Co., California.²
     She moved with her parents to Jasper, Dubois Co., Indiana, in February 1888.² She and Moses had the following known children: Walter Blocher (b 28 July 1904), William Arthur (b 28 May 1908), Isaac Samuel (b 6 April 1910), Esther Elizabeth (b 25 March 1913), Simon Joseph (b 24 October 1917).³

     Belva Mable Krathwohl was born on 23 March 1888 in Fulton Co., Indiana.^1,2 She married Andrew Wise, son of Samuel Wise and Elizabeth Studebaker, in October 1908 in Indiana.^3,4,5 She died on 15 January 1959 in Carroll Co., Indiana, at age 70.² She was buried at the Wise Cemetery in Carroll Co., Indiana.²
     She and Andrew had the following known children, all born in Carroll Co., Indiana: Clayton K. (b 9 August 1909), Clarice Eunice (b 26 June 1913), Claude Mozingo (b 21 October 1915), Wilbur Ernest (b 17 November 1921), Joan Viola (b 24 February 1930).⁶

     Edna Fry was born on 22 June 1881 or 1882.³ She married Samuel Wise, son of Samuel Wise and Elizabeth Studebaker, on 10 April 1901 in Carroll Co., Indiana.^1,2 She died on 12 October 1971.³

     Nettie Culp was born on 13 March 1886 in Elkhart Co., Indiana.¹ She married Aaron Wise, son of Samuel Wise and Elizabeth Studebaker, on 12 October 1918 in Elkhart Co., Indiana.^1,2

     Mary C. Rosenberger was born on 2 January 1849 (the Wolf/Cripe genealogy says 2 January 1848) in Virginia.^2,1 She married John P. Wise, son of Leonard Wise and Catherine Eyman, on 3 September 1867 in Carroll Co., Indiana.¹ She died on 11 December 1900 in Carroll Co., Indiana, at age 51.¹ She was buried at Nebo Cemetery in Carroll Co., Indiana.¹
     She and her husband John lived in Tippecanoe and Carroll Co., Indiana.¹

     Amos B. Wise was born on 1 April 1869 in Carroll Co., Indiana.^2,3 He married first Issa Eva Eikenberry on 20 January 1891 in Carroll Co., Indiana.^4,2 He married second Rosetta A. Kuns was born on 28 January 1856 in Rossville, Clinton Co., Indiana.¹ He married first Elizabeth Wise, daughter of Leonard Wise and Catherine Eyman, on 12 September 1875 in Carroll Co., Indiana.¹ He married second Rebecca Emmaline Eikenberry, daughter of Christopher Eikenberry and Susannah Overholser, on 22 August 1917 in Carroll Co., Indiana.^2,1 He died on 14 March 1924 at age 68.¹ He was buried at Musselman Cemetery in Carroll Co., Indiana.¹
     He and his wife Elizabeth lived for a time in Piatt Co., Illinois.¹

     Rebecca Emmaline Eikenberry married John W. Kuns, son of Lewis W. Kuns and Catharine Wolf, on 22 August 1917 in Carroll Co., Indiana.^1,2

     Mary Catharine Kuns was born on 20 November 1877 in Cerro Gordo, Piatt Co., Illinois.² She married Benjamin Lawrence Fisher on 24 December 1895.² She died on 17 April 1966 in Flora, Carroll Co., Indiana, at age 88.² She was buried at Musselman Cemetery in Carroll Co., Indiana.²
     She and Benjamin had the following known children: Albert O. (b 21 November 1897, d d 17 July 1965), Melvin (b 29 July 1900, d 28 February 1992), John Abram (b 7 November 1905, d 5 September 1964).³

     Rufus Kuns was born on 16 July 1879 in Cerro Gordo, Piatt Co., Illinois.² He married first Vera Alice Hilbert, daughter of Wallace M. Hilbert and Ann Moore, on 20 March 1902 in Lonoke Co., Arkansas.^3,4 He married second Margaret Douglas on 16 April 1919 in Lafayette, Tippecanoe Co., Indiana. They had met just a week earlier, after Margaret had answered an Indianapolis newpaper ad Rufus placed looking for a wife.^4,5 She left him after five days, and Rufus filed suit to have the marriage annulled.^5,4 He married third Carrie Helen (?) on 9 September 1920 in Moody, McLennan Co., Texas.^6,4 He died instantly when hit by a train on 17 December 1921 near Camden, Carroll Co., Indiana. He was probably checking traps he ran along the tracks, and because of his deafness never heard the train.⁴ He was buried at Musselman Cemetery in Carroll Co., Indiana.²
     He and his first wife Vera moved from Milmine, Piatt Co., Illinois, to Carroll Co., Indiana.⁴ A severe case of the measles as a child made him mostly deaf, and Vera had helped him a great deal. After her death in 1918 left him with four children, he became abusive to them. The oldest, Neal, moved out on his own, and another left to live with an aunt.⁴
     He and Vera had the following known children: Neal Howard (b 15 March 1900, d 28 January 1926), Anna May Jean (b 22 August 1903, d 13 February 1982), Floyd John (b 15 August 1905, d 24 June 1967), Lucille Elizabeth (b 19 November 1907).⁷

     Benjamin Lawrence Fisher was born on 21 January 1872 in Miami Co., Indiana.¹ He married Mary Catharine Kuns, daughter of John W. Kuns and Elizabeth Wise, on 24 December 1895.¹ He died in 1953 in Flora, Carroll Co., Indiana.¹ He was buried at Musselman Cemetery in Carroll Co., Indiana.¹
