     Sarah Elizabeth Flora was born on 29 July 1871 in Flora, Carroll Co., Indiana.¹ She married Sanford Kuns, son of Lewis W. Kuns and Catharine Wolf, on 1 January 1890 in Carroll Co., Indiana.¹ She died on 16 March 1947 in Flora, Carroll Co., Indiana, at age 75.¹ She was buried at Moss Cemetery in Carroll Co., Indiana.¹

(Her cemetery marker says she was born 23 February 1906 and died at age 11, but the 1905 date is consistent with her age of 12 given in a newspaper article about her death, and her age of 4 in the 1910 census.)^2,3,4 She died on 7 October 1917 in Jackson Twp., Carroll Co., Indiana, at age 12 after being kicked by a horse the previous day. Her parents were away at a religious meeting in Cerro Gordo, Piatt Co., Illinois, and rushed home by train, arriving 30 minutes before she died.^2,5 She was buried on 9 October 1917 at Moss Cemetery in Carroll Co., Indiana.^2,3
