Suffolk, England.¹ He married, probably third, Mabel Wilchine, daughter of Gregory Wilchine and Agnes Hacker, on 5 May 1594 in Lavenham, co. Suffolk, England.¹ He was buried on 2 August 1602 in Brent Eleigh, co. Suffolk, England.¹
     He is assumed to have had at least three marriages, based on his age when he married Alice Fuller.¹

     Mabel Wilchine was baptized on 17 April 1569 in Lavenham, co. Suffolk, England.¹ She married Thomas Cole on 5 May 1594 in Lavenham, co. Suffolk, England.¹ She was buried on 2 May 1619 in Brent Eleigh, co. Suffolk, England.¹

     Elizabeth Sudbury married first George Bixby, son of Richard Bixby and Isabel Nunn, on 22 November 1627.¹ She married second John Skowinge on 14 May 1667.¹

     Mary Bixby was baptized on 26 July 1618 in Little Waldingfield, co. Suffolk, England.¹ She was buried on 20 January 1663/64.¹

     Sarah Bixby was baptized on 12 September 1619 in Little Waldingfield, co. Suffolk, England.¹

     Hannah Bixby was baptized on 28 September 1623 in Little Waldingfield, co. Suffolk, England.¹

     Richard Bixby was baptized on 29 May 1562 in Thorp Morieux, co. Suffolk, England.¹ He married Isabel Nunn, daughter of William Nunn and Joan (?), on 7 July 1589 in Thorp Morieux, co. Suffolk, England.¹
     After their marriage, Richard Bixby and his wife Isabel lived at "Queynt's" in Thorp Morieux, co. Suffolk, England.¹

     Isabel Nunn was baptized on 25 January 1567/68 in Rattlesden, co. Suffolk, England.¹ She married Richard Bixby, son of Thomas Byxby and Margaret Munnings, on 7 July 1589 in Thorp Morieux, co. Suffolk, England.¹ The NEHGR article, in the entry for her husband Richard Bixby, says that "she was probably the 'Old mother Bixby' who was buried 30 September 1652 at Little Waldingfield, Suffolk." However, the entry for her father William Nunn says that she probably died between 1595 and 1605.¹
     In some records she is named Elizabeth, which at the time was synonymous with Isabel.¹ After their marriage, she and her husband Richard lived at "Queynt's" in Thorp Morieux, co. Suffolk, England.¹

     William Nunn was born in Rattlesden, co. Suffolk, England, probably about 1535.¹ He married second Agnes Samson on 3 May 1564 in Rattlesden, co. Suffolk, England.¹ He married third Joan (?).¹ He married fourth Agnes Devereux on 19 July 1604.¹ He was buried in Rattlesden, co. Suffolk, England. In the NEHGR article his burial date is given as 19 July 1604, but this is clearly an error, assuming that the dates of his fourth marriage and the making of his will are correct.¹
     The identification of James Nunn as the father of William Nunn is based on the fact that the sons of James's brothers Robert and John are known, and don't include a William.¹
     William Nunn was married four times, but the name of his first wife, who was the mother of his children Margery (perhaps) and Anne, is unknown.¹ His will was dated 10 January 1605/6 and proved on 7 October 1613. His wife Agnes received all his moveables, except for a cupboard that was left to his son-in-law John Sheador.¹

     Joan (?) married William Nunn, son of James Nunn.¹

     William Bixby was baptized in 1589 in Thorp Morieux, co. Suffolk, England.¹ He may have married Alice Barton on 12 August 1619 in Raydon, co. Suffolk, England.¹

     Alice Barton may have married William Bixby, son of Richard Bixby and Isabel Nunn, on 12 August 1619 in Raydon, co. Suffolk, England.¹

     Susan Bixby was baptized on 2 February 1590/91 in Rattlesden, co. Suffolk, England.¹ She probably died as an infant.¹

     Edmund Bixby was baptized on 29 October 1592 in Rattlesden, co. Suffolk, England.¹

     Thomas Byxby was born about 1500 (based on his reported age at burial of "fower skore yeres and six") in Thorp Morieux, co. Suffolk, England.¹ He married Margaret Munnings, daughter of Thomas Munnings, on 28 November 1538 in Thorp Morieux, co. Suffolk, England.¹ He was buried on 13 October 1586 in Thorp Morieux, co. Suffolk, England.¹
     According to some of his children's baptism records Thomas Byxby lived with Nicholas (either his brother or uncle) at Frayles. Later, from the record of the second marriage of his daughter Judith, he lived at Queynt's.¹ He served on manorial court juries on 4 April 1560, 18 April 1561, 13 October 1563, and 1 September 1575. He also served (or was chosen to serve) as constable, but was excused on 30 March 1569 and replaced by his nephew James Bixby.¹
     In his will dated 17 May 1583, he left his house and land to his wife Margaret for the rest of her life, then to his son Nicholas who was to pay the legacies, and if he failed to do so, to his son Edmund. His sons Edmund and Richard were to receive £20 each, his daughter Margaret £6.13.4, his daughter Rose £12, and his daughter Judith £5. His brother Robert was left 6s 8d per year for life. His wife Margaret and son Nicholas were named as executors.¹

     Margaret Munnings was born about 1520.¹ She married Thomas Byxby, son of John Byxby and Alice (?), on 28 November 1538 in Thorp Morieux, co. Suffolk, England.¹ She was buried on 4 March 1608/9 in Thorp Morieux, co. Suffolk, England.¹

     Nicholas Bixby was baptized on 4 January 1539/40 in Thorp Morieux, co. Suffolk, England.¹ He married Margaret (?) on 17 May 1573.¹

     Margaret (?) married first (?) Eade.¹ She married second Nicholas Bixby, son of Thomas Byxby and Margaret Munnings, on 17 May 1573.¹

     Thomasin Bixby was baptized on 6 September 1573.¹ She was buried on 29 September 1573.¹

     Edmund Bixby was baptized on 20 March 1574/75 in Rattlesden, co. Suffolk, England.¹
