P., to Frieda Marie Sophie Schroeder, daughter of John Schroeder and Wilhelmina Richart, on 29 October 1914 in Allegan, Allegan Co., Michigan.^4,5 He died on 19 May 1971 at age 78.¹ He was buried at Taylor Cemetery in Allegan Co., Michigan.⁶
     After 1925 Leo John Dornan and his wife Frieda lived on Crawford Avenue in Glenn, Allegan Co., Michigan. He bought a house there, tore it down, and rebuilt it on a lot he bought for $50.00. He later remodeled and enlarged the house.⁵ He worked on farms for many years, and also rented out houses. His entry in the 1920 census for Allegan Co., Michigan, says he worked as a laborer in road construction. He later worked for the Everett Piano Co. in South Haven, Michigan, and retired from there.^5,7 He loved hunting and fishing, and usually owned one or two hunting dogs.⁵

     Frieda Marie Sophie Schroeder was born in 1889 (although her marriage record lists her age as 21) in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois.^2,3 She was married by Herman H. Cook, J.
