Duke Wilhelm (of Brunswick-Luneburg)

Duke Wilhelm (of Brunswick-Luneburg) was born on 4 July 1535 of Celle, Hannover, Prussia.¹ He was the son of Duke Ernst (of Brunswick-Luneburg) and Princess Sofie (of Mecklenburg Schwerin).¹ Duke Wilhelm (of Brunswick-Luneburg) married Princess Dorothea (of Denmark), daughter of King Christian III (of Denmark) and Princess Dorothea (of Saxony-Lauenburg), on 12 October 1561 in Celle, Hannover, Prussia.¹ Duke Wilhelm (of Brunswick-Luneburg) died on 30 August 1592 in Celle, Hannover, Prussia, at age 57.¹ He was buried in Celle, Hannover, Prussia.¹
