Princess Dorothea (of Denmark)

Princess Dorothea (of Denmark) was born on 29 June 1546 in Koldinghus, Kolding, Vejle, Denmark.¹ She was the daughter of King Christian III (of Denmark) and Princess Dorothea (of Saxony-Lauenburg).¹ Princess Dorothea (of Denmark) married Duke Wilhelm (of Brunswick-Luneburg), son of Duke Ernst (of Brunswick-Luneburg) and Princess Sofie (of Mecklenburg Schwerin), on 12 October 1561 in Celle, Hannover, Prussia.¹ Princess Dorothea (of Denmark) died on 6 January 1617 in Winsen, Hannover, Prussia, at age 70.¹ She was buried on 19 February 1617 in Pfarrkirche, Celle, Hannover, Prussia.¹
