After their marriage, Ebenezer Hinckley and his wife Mary settled in Barnstable, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts.1 About 1716 they moved to Braintree, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts.1 In 1716 he bought a farm in Braintree from William Rawson, Jr., for £400, and additional land from William Rawson, Sr., for £60. In the deeds he's described as a yeoman.1
His will was dated 5 July 1720. His daughter Rachel was left £140 to be paid when she came of age, plus a copy of "Mr. Flavel's works." His son Ebenezer was left £160, also to be paid when he came of age, plus the "three biggest books mentioned in my father's will" (a Concordance and Expositions of the Books of Moses, valued at £2 7s), and his "gun, sword, and ironback." The remainder of his property was to go to his wife Mary. His estate was valued at £656 13s.1
He and Mary had two known children, Rachel (b 1 November 1707) and Ebenezer (b 14 March 1713).1
