In 1805 Henry Williamson bought 66 1/2 acres of land on Cox's Branch from Stephen McPherson and his wife.3 He bought 828 acres on Pates Rd. from Benjamin Stith and his wife in 1811.4 In 1814 he received a deed of trust from Samuel Jones for 600 acres on Enochs Creek.5

He and his wife Lucinda lived on the north fork of the Otter River in Bedford Co., Virginia.1 In 1833 he bought 130 acres there on the side of the Blue Ridge from John Austin Wharton.2 Two years later, in 1835, he purchased an interest in 1429 acres "adjoining the Peaks of Otter."3 That same year he purchased an interest in 57 1/4 acres near the head of Otter Creek, along with the interest of Adam Kinzer in the same tract.4 In 1836 he was deeded 100 acres of land at the headwaters of the Otter River from his wife Lucinda.5 He also bought 130 acres adjoining Parker Moseley from Pleasant Stanley in 1836.6 And in 1837 he bought 205 acres adjoining Thomas Marshall on Camp Creek.7
He and his wife Lucinda sold an acre of land, for the construction of the new Thomas Chapel Methodist Church, for $5.00. Their slaves, along with others in the area, made the bricks used in building the church.8
He and Lucinda had the following known children: Callohill (b abt 1841, d 20 September 1924), McHenry (b 1847, d 13 October 1915), Leroy (b abt 1848), and Demaris.9
