He moved from Newbury to Methuen, Essex Co., Massachusetts.2 From there he moved to Andover, Essex Co., Massachusetts, being dismissed from Methuen to the First Church in Andover in 1722.2

His will was dated 1 August 1744 and probated 25 May 1749. He left all his household goods to his wife Sarah. His son Moses was left the west end of his house, and was to have all of his estate at his mother's death.2

He died intestate, and on 20 November 1758, "by the desire of his son Enoch," Lt. Jonathan Buck, along with Solomon Springer and Richard Eastman (all his sons-in-law, presumably), were appointed administrators of his estate.2 His estate was divided and distributed to his heirs on 14 May 1759.2
