     Margaret V. Hill was born on 29 September 1858 in Harrison Co., Virginia (now West Virginia).1,2 She married Durling Brayton Reckard, son of Ansel Record and Mary Hamilton, on 18 June 1907 in Decatur, Adams Co., Indiana.3 She died on 8 June 1934 in Decatur, Adams Co., Indiana, at age 75 from myocarditis.2 She was buried on 10 June 1934 at Decatur Cemetery in Decatur, Adams Co., Indiana.2
     In her husband Durling's will, dated 25 February 1907, about four months before their marriage, she was left all his property, "provided, however, she does not harbor, board, lodge, or assist her brother John W. Hill in any way." If she were to violate these provisions, his property was to go to the church, except for a sum amounting to $2/week from 1 May 1906 until his death, "as compensation for services rendered." What prompted him to make this provision is unknown.4

     Polly Curtice was born on 12 April 1782.2,1 She was married by William Lockwood to Seth Dickinson on 13 April 1803.1,2 She died on 16 May 1859 at age 77.2,1 She was buried at Century Cemetery, also known as Old Marlborough Cemetery, in Hartford Co., Connecticut.3,4,5

     Seth Dickinson was born on 4 November 1779.1,2 He was baptized in December 1779 in Marlborough, Hartford Co., Connecticut.1 He was married by William Lockwood to Polly Curtice, daughter of Reuben Curtice and Abigail Waters, on 13 April 1803.1,2 He died on 16 February 1859 at age 79.1,2 He was buried at Century Cemetery, also known as Old Marlborough Cemetery, in Hartford Co., Connecticut.3,4,5
