At S. W. Margaree on 15th day of July, 1894 after and illness of 3 weeks, Alexander, son of Dougald MacFarlane, in the 31st year of his age. Strengthened and consoled by the last sacred rites of the Church, he passed calmly away. His funeral was largely attended, besides the parish priest, Father Chisholm, Father Coady of Thorboun, Father MacDougall of Margaree.6

She was the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Gillis) Kennedy - Kenloch of which family she was the last surviving member. She is survived by a family of eleven; Annie and Joe Allan at home, Mrs Frank MacKay, Mrs. James Moran, Catherine in Boston, Mrs. Sam DeVincent New York, Mrs. Pete Von Scheltings Selly Sask., Mrs. Alex Campbell Inverness, John D. South West Margaree, Archy in Chicago, John in Maine, a daughter Mary E. died
