     After their marriage, she and her husband Samuel lived in Elgin, Union Co., Oregon.3 They moved to Homestead, Canyon Co., Idaho, sometime between 1903 and 19053,6,4, then to Hillsdale, Ada Co., Idaho, by 1920.4 In 1930 she and her son Roy were living with her parents Lewis and Grace Stott in Meridian, Ada Co., Idaho.5

Cross was born on 12 January 1840 (based on her age at death of 64 years, 7 months, 22 days) in Rochester, Monroe Co., New York, (her marriage record with Stephen Farnsworth says Michigan).2,3 She married first David Riley on 3 August 1857 in Leroy, Calhoun Co., Michigan.4 She married second Stephen H. Farnsworth, son of Moses Farnsworth and Mariah Burlingham, on 2 January 1874 in Wexford, Wexford Co., Michigan.3 She died from pulmonary tuberculosis on 3 September 1904 in Wexford Twp., Wexford Co., Michigan, at age 64.2 She was buried on 6 September 1904 at Wexford Cemetery in Wexford Co., Michigan.2
     She and her first husband David had four children, all born in Michigan: Fadrado (b abt 1854), Willis (b abt 1858), Amanda (b abt 1860), and Eugene (b abt 1862).5 She and her second husband Stephen lived in Wexford Twp., Wexford Co., Michigan, where he was a miller for a time, and later a farmer. Stephen's brother Philip was living with them in 1900.6,7

     James Edwin Chandler was born on 3 January 1863 in Sturgis, St. Joseph Co., Michigan (his death certificate says New York).2,3 He was baptized on 9 March 1882, at age 19, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo Co., Michigan.4 He was married by Rev. Robert E. Jones to Kate Levisa Burlingham, daughter of Nathan Huntly Burlingham and Julia Maria Burrell, on 14 December 1887 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo Co., Michigan.2,5 He died from a heart attack on 14 September 1935 in Paw Paw, Van Buren Co., Michigan, at age 72.3 He was buried on 17 September 1935 at Riverside Cemetery (Sect. C, Lot 28) in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo Co., Michigan.6,7
     He graduated from Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo Co., Michigan,6 then went to law school.6 He began practicing law in Kalamazoo, and later moved to Paw Paw, Van Buren Co., Michigan.6 He served as a prosecuting attorney from 1896 to 1900 and 1920 to 19266, and was the village attorney in Paw Paw at the time of his death.6
     He and his wife Kate are listed in Paw Paw in the 1900 census8, in South Haven, Van Buren Co., Michigan, in the 1910 census9, and back in Paw Paw in the 1930 census.10 They have not yet been found in the 1920 census.
