     Samuel Grant died in 1686.¹

     Hannah Grant was born on 28 March 1689 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.² She married first Thomas Morton, son of William Morton and Mary (?).² She married second John Moseley, son of John Maudsly and Mary Newberry.² She died on 27 April 1763 in Westfield, Hampshire Co. (now Hampden Co.), Massachusetts, at age 74.²

     Thomas Morton married Hannah Grant, daughter of Samuel Grant and Grace Minor.¹ He died on 19 July 1708 (another record says 20 July 1708) in East Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.¹

     John Moseley was born on 21 August 1678 in Westfield, Hampshire Co. (now Hampden Co.), Massachusetts.¹ He married Hannah Grant, daughter of Samuel Grant and Grace Minor.¹ He died on 6 August 1752 (the Lyman genealogy says 5 August 1753) in Westfield, Hampshire Co. (now Hampden Co.), Massachusetts, at age 73.^1,2

     John Maudsly was born in 1638.² He married Mary Newberry, daughter of Benjamin Newberry and Mary Allyn, on 14 December 1664.^2,1 He died on 18 August 1690.²
     He and his wife Mary moved from Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut, to Westfield, Hampshire Co. (now Hampden Co.), Massachusetts, sometime between 21 November 1675, when their son Consider was born in Windsor, and 21 August 1678, when their son John was born in Westfield.³

     Mary Newberry was born on 10 March 1647/48 in Windsor, Connecticut.¹ She married John Maudsly on 14 December 1664.^1,2
     She and her husband John moved from Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut, to Westfield, Hampshire Co. (now Hampden Co.), Massachusetts, sometime between 21 November 1675, when their son Consider was born in Windsor, and 21 August 1678, when their son John was born in Westfield.³

     Samuel Grant was born on 19 September 1691 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.² He married Theophyle Bartlett on 1 January 1718/19 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.² He died on 7 April 1751 in East Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut, at age 59.²
     He probably moved to Tolland, Connecticut, in 1713.² In 1726 he and his wife Theophyle moved to Bolton (now Vernon), Windham Co. (now Tolland Co.), Connecticut,² where he had purchased 500 acres of land, and where much of the city of Rockville now stands.² They later moved back to Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.²
     He worked as a weaver², and served as hayward, surveyor, constable, lister, and tythingman.²

     Theophyle Bartlett married Samuel Grant, son of Samuel Grant and Grace Minor, on 1 January 1718/19 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.¹ She probably died on 23 December 1775 in East Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.¹
     She and her husband Samuel moved to Bolton (now Vernon), Windham Co. (now Tolland Co.), Connecticut, in 1726.¹ They later moved back to Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.¹

     Martha Huntington was born on 9 December 1696 in Norwich, New London Co., Connecticut.¹ She married first Noah Grant, son of Samuel Grant and Grace Minor, on 12 June 1717 in Tolland, Connecticut.¹ She married second Peter Buell, son of Samuel Buell and Deborah Griswold, on 7 January 1728/29 in Coventry, Windham Co. (now Tolland Co.), Connecticut.¹
     After her first husband's death in 1727 she moved to Coventry, Windham Co. (now Tolland Co.), Connecticut.¹

     Peter Buell was born on 3 December 1684 in Killingworth, Connecticut.¹ He married Martha Huntington, daughter of John Huntington and Abigail Lothrop, on 7 January 1728/29 in Coventry, Windham Co. (now Tolland Co.), Connecticut.¹ He died in March 1769 at age 84.¹

     Ephraim Grant was born on 24 August 1698 (or 24 July 1698) in Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.² He married first Elizabeth Cady, daughter of John Cady and Elizabeth (?), on 22 August 1723 in Tolland, Connecticut.² He married second Esther (?) on 24 September 1747 in Tolland, Windham Co. (now Tolland Co.), Connecticut.² He married third Katharine Meacham, daughter of (?) Meacham and Esther Williams, on 2 July 1761 in Tolland, Windham Co. (now Tolland Co.), Connecticut.² He died on 23 December 1785 at age 87.²
     He moved to Grant's Hill in Tolland, Connecticut, about 1720.² He served as treasurer for many years, and as constable and tax collector.² He also served in the militia, and was an ensign in 1737, lieutenant in 1746, and captain in 1751.²

     Elizabeth Cady was born on 5 March 1701 in Groton, New London Co., Connecticut.¹ She married Ephraim Grant, son of Samuel Grant and Grace Minor, on 22 August 1723 in Tolland, Connecticut.¹ She died on 8 November 1746 in Tolland, Windham Co. (now Tolland Co.), Connecticut, at age 45.¹

     Esther (?) married first (?) Ladd.¹ She married second Ephraim Grant, son of Samuel Grant and Grace Minor, on 24 September 1747 in Tolland, Windham Co. (now Tolland Co.), Connecticut.¹ She died on 7 November 1760 in Tolland, Windham Co. (now Tolland Co.), Connecticut.¹

     Katharine Meacham married Ephraim Grant, son of Samuel Grant and Grace Minor, on 2 July 1761 in Tolland, Windham Co. (now Tolland Co.), Connecticut.¹

     Grace Grant was born on 17 August 1701 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.² She married (?) Bowers.²

     (?) Bowers married Grace Grant, daughter of Samuel Grant and Grace Minor.¹
     His given name may have been John.¹
