She went by the name Dora, at least after her marriage.8,4
She is listed in the household of her mother Amorette and stepfather Jesse Swikert in the 1870 census in Otsego, Allegan Co., Michigan.9 She is again listed with them in the 1880 census in Trowbridge Twp., Allegan Co., Michigan, but with the surname Swikert.10
She and her husband William lived in Otsego, where they are listed in the censuses from 1900 to 1920. In 1920 they had as boarders Grace Johnson, age 17, and Elasco Sherwood, age 80.8,11,12 She continued to live there, in the same house, the rest of her life. In 1930 her brother Cade Taylor was living with her, along with a boarder, Roy Reynard.13,4

He was named in his grandfather William Marche the Elder's will, dated 29 April 1612, inventoried on 11 Feb 1613, and proved on 8 Sep 1615. He and his siblings were each left 6s 8d.1 He was named executor of his mother's will, dated 21 May 1616 and proved 21 Jun 1616, and received what remained of her estate after the other bequests were satisfied.1 He was also named in his sister Elizabeth's will, which was undated (but may have been made soon after his mother's death in 1616), and proved on 14 May 1619. He was left a ewe.1
He apparently had no children, since his sisters inherited his estate.1

Her own will was undated, and proved on 14 May 1619. Since she refers to a gold ring "which my mother gave unto me," her will may have been made soon after her mother's death in 1616. She left 10s to the poor of both Rattery and Sherford; 10s for a ring for "him that shall preach my funeral sermon;" 20s to her aunt Alce (Alice) March; 6s to Marie Marche, the daughter of Thomas March of Sherford, who was probably a relative; 12d each to three of her uncle Henry Martyn's manservants; a ewe to her brother William; 12d to her godchild Peter Cooke; and all her clothing plus a ewe to her sister Amyas. The rest of her estate was to be divided equally between her five sisters, except that Alce (Alice) was to receive 40s more if she were to marry to her "Uncle Martine's good liking and [that] of her friends." Her uncle Henry Martyn was named executor, and was to receive the previously mentioned gold ring. The witnesses were Luce Martyn (her uncle Henry Martyn's wife), and William and Christian Hele (or Heale) (Henry Martyn's son-in-law and daughter). Her estate was inventoried on 12 May 1619, and indicated that she received a 1/6 share of her brother William's estate. The estate was valued at £39 14s.1 At the time her will was made, she was living in Rattery, Devon, England, probably with her uncle Henry Martyn.1

He was a yeoman in Sherford, Devon, England.1
On 9 October 1610 in court at the manor of Stokenham, Devon, England, he was said to have stopped the church path between the village of Chillingtun and the parish church of Stokenham. In the same court, on 15 January 1610/11, the charge was made that "he doth deny the water to be turned out of a certain 'drange.'" This case was referred to Mr. John Peter and the lord of the manor, who were to make a determination "before 'Midsomer' next."1
His will was dated 29 April 1612 and the inventory of his estate was made on 11 February 1613 by Arthur Wakeham, Will Randall, and Thomas Marche. The inventory listed only livestock, worth £35 11s 4d. The will itself was not proved until 8 September 1615. In it he left 5s to the poor of Sherford, and directed that he be buried in the parish church. He left 40s to his son George and to his oldest daughter Joane Hinde [?]; 6s 8d to the rest of his daughters - Grace Neale, Jane Bickford, Prudence Jackson [?], and Sarah Pounde; and 6s 8d to each of the seven children of his late son Richard. The rest was to go to his daughter-in-law Joane Marche, who was named executor, but she was to receive no benefits (except for his funeral expenses and for raising her children) until his debts were paid. No wife is mentioned in his will.1
