She and her husband Leonard moved to Marion Co., Illinois, about 1875.1 Later, in 1883, they moved to Cherokee Co., Kansas.1 About five weeks before her death she returned home, feeling weak, after caring for her ill mother for several weeks in Salem, Marion Co., Illinois.1
She and Leonard had the following known children: Daniel (b 25 October 1863, d 15 January 1960), Jacob Jasper (b 4 February 1865, d 28 May 1939), William Henry (b 27 April 1867, d 27 February 1941), Francis Joseph (b 3 May 1873, d 22 July 1958), Jesse Franklin (b 10 November 1876, d 24 February 1967), Mary Emma (b 2 December 1878, 14 April 1961), twins Katherine Elizabeth (b 16 May 1885, d 28 January 1930) and Eli G. She went by the nickname "Susie."1 She and her husband Jacob moved to Piatt Co., Illinois, about 1870.1 They moved again about 1880, to Crawford Co., Kansas.1 They lived for a time in Mount Hebron, Siskiyou Co., California, but thought the climate too cold for fruit farming.1 About June 1907 they moved to Nampa, Canyon Co., Idaho.1
She and Jacob had the following known children: Eli M. (b 1 September 1865, d 2 February 1907), Anna Elizabeth (b 9 September 1868, d 24 March 1957), Emma Ellen (b 2 April 1871, d 1938), Malinda Agnes (b 14 June 1874), Rosa May (b 13 June 1877), Florence Belle (b 31 August 1880, d 19 April 1956), plus a son (name unknown).2

She and her first husband Jacob Wolf moved to LaPlace, Piatt Co., Illinois, in 1861, the first of the family to do so. They settled on a half-section of land about a mile east of the town.1 They donated three acres of their land to the Brethren Church.1

He moved with his parents to Piatt Co., Illinois, about 1864.2 His passion was fishing, so he sold land that his father had left him, and moved to Oregon where he could fish more often.2 He disappeared when he went fishing one day, and never returned home.2
