     Mary E. Wise was born on 25 March 1891 in Carroll Co., Indiana.¹ She died on 19 October 1891.¹ She was buried at the Wise Cemetery in Carroll Co., Indiana.¹

     Amsey Miller was born on 10 November 1878 in Elkhart Co., Indiana.^2,3 He married Salome Wise, daughter of Elias Wise and Esther Wenrick, on 7 March 1900 in Carroll Co., Indiana.^1,2 He died on 11 May 1944 at age 65.^2,3 He was buried at the Wise Cemetery in Carroll Co., Indiana.^3,2
     He and Salome had the following known children: Elmer Austin (d 22 August 1943), Esther, Sarah, Henry, Calvin.⁴

     Rosa Mae Hoover was born in 1884.¹ She married Ezra Wise, son of Elias Wise and Esther Wenrick.¹ She died in 1947.¹ She was buried at the Wise Cemetery in Carroll Co., Indiana.¹

     Edward Wilmer Arnold was born on 9 May 1883.^1,3 He married Leah C. Wise, daughter of Elias Wise and Esther Wenrick, on 19 September 1909 in Carroll Co., Indiana.^2,1 He died on 3 November 1962 at age 79.^1,3 He was buried at the Wise Cemetery in Carroll Co., Indiana.^1,3
     He and Leah had four children.¹

     Irene T. Temple was born on 6 February 1856 in Ohio.¹ She married Joseph S. Wise, son of Leonard Wise and Catherine Eyman, on 7 June 1893 in Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan. Their wedding was "the happy culmination of an extended and somewhat romantic betrothal."^4,1 She died on 7 April 1930 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Van Blue, who she was visiting in Carrolton Twp., Carroll Co., Indiana, at age 74 from heart disease.^3,5 She was buried on 10 April 1930 at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Jefferson Twp., Carroll Co., Indiana.^3,6
     In 1900 she and her husband Joseph were living in Ward 3, Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, in the household of Bert Hoover and his wife Susie (probably Irene's sister).⁷
     They later moved to Tulare, Tulare Co., California, perhaps by 1910 when the Tulare City Directory listed J. S. Wise, carpenter, living there at 125 N. H St.⁸ She and Joseph are listed in Tulare Twp., Tulare Co., in the 1920 census.²
     For about a year before her death she had been in Indiana visiting relatives in Flora, Carroll Co., and Idaville, White Co.⁵ Although she died on 7 April 1930, she was enumerated in the 1930 census on 16 April (but with an effective date of 1 April) in the household of Ed Simonds and his wife Hazel in Adams Twp., Carroll Co., Indiana.⁹

     Henry V. Sensenbaugh was born in February 1859 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.² He married Mary E. Wise, daughter of Leonard Wise and Catherine Eyman, on 19 November 1881 (the Wolf/Cripe genealogy says 17 November 1881) in Carroll Co., Indiana.^1,2

     Agnes V. Sensenbaugh was born in August 1883 in Illinois.²

     John E. Sensenbaugh was born on 7 September 1890 in Franklin, Johnson Co., Indiana.² He married Cecile Martin, daughter of Lewis B. Martin and Lulu Campbell, on 19 August 1914 in White Co., Indiana.²
     He and Cecile had one known child, Lewis M. (b 3 October 1915).²

     Cecile Martin was born on 25 March 1893 in Chalmers, White Co., Indiana.¹ She married John E. Sensenbaugh, son of Henry V. Sensenbaugh and Mary E. Wise, on 19 August 1914 in White Co., Indiana.¹
     She and John had one known child, Lewis M. (b 3 October 1915).¹

     Catharine Blickenstaff was born on 27 January 1810 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.² She married first Christian Shively, son of Daniel L. Shively and Susanna Ulery, on 15 January 1828 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.² She married second John Kuns, son of John George Kuns Jr. and Elizabeth Cripe, on 12 May 1861 in Carroll Co., Indiana.³ She died on 22 September 1875 in Piatt Co., Illinois, at age 65.⁴ She was buried at LaPlace Cemetery.⁵
     Her second husband John Kuns was also her uncle, having been married previously to her mother's sister Hannah Wolf.⁶

     Leonard Blickenstaff was born on 11 May 1811 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.² He married Catharine Ulery, daughter of John Ulery and Catharine Wolf, on 12 May 1832 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.² He died on 24 August 1869 in Macon Co., Illinois, at age 58.² He was buried at the Frantz Cemetery in Oakley Twp., Macon Co., Illinois.³
     From Montgomery Co., Ohio, Leonard Blickenstaff and his wife Catharine moved to Tippecanoe Co., Indiana.³ By late 1862 they had again moved, to Piatt or Macon Co., Illinois.³

     Elizabeth Blickenstaff was born in 1812 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.¹ She died in 1834 in Clinton Co., Indiana.¹

     Hannah Blickenstaff was born in 1814 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.¹ She died in 1830 in Clinton Co., Indiana.¹

     Christian Shively was born on 23 January 1807 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.¹ He married Catharine Blickenstaff, daughter of Joseph Blickenstaff and Barbara Wolf, on 15 January 1828 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.¹ He died on 13 September 1857 in Clinton Co., Indiana, at age 50.¹

     Catharine Ulery was born on 6 October 1811 (or possibly 5 November 1811) in Montgomery Co., Ohio.² She married Leonard Blickenstaff, son of Joseph Blickenstaff and Barbara Wolf, on 12 May 1832 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.² She died on 6 December 1866 (or possibly 5 December 1866) at age 55.² She was buried at Frantz Cemetery in Oakley Twp., Macon Co., Illinois.¹
     From Montgomery Co., Ohio, she and her husband Leonard moved to Tippecanoe Co., Indiana.¹ By late 1862 they had again moved, to Piatt or Macon Co., Illinois.¹

     John George Kuns Jr. was born on 5 January 1774 in Berks Co., Pennsylvania.³ He married Elizabeth Cripe, daughter of John Cripe and Elizabeth Rench, abt 1793 or 1794 in Huntingdon Co., Pennsylvania.⁴ He died between 18 April 1842 and 4 May 1842 in Carroll Co., Indiana.³ He was buried at Mullendore Cemetery in Rock Creek Twp., Carroll Co., Indiana.³
     He and his brother Jacob moved to Montgomery Co., Ohio, in 1804.⁵ He was a land speculator, and owned several thousand acres in Montgomery Co.⁵ His house, in Section 28 of Montgomery Co., was built in 1808, and was described as a "palace ... 2 stories high and neatly finished," and was built using stone quarried locally.⁵ He moved to Carroll Co., Indiana, in 1830 with his son-in-law Emanuel Flora.³ His will was dated 18 April 1842 in Carroll Co., Indiana, and proved on 4 May 1842.⁶

     Elizabeth Cripe was born in 1773 in Bedford Co., Pennsylvania.³ She married John George Kuns Jr., son of John George Kuntz and Anna Magdalena Sievers, abt 1793 or 1794 in Huntingdon Co., Pennsylvania.⁴ She died on 12 June 1854 in Carroll Co., Indiana.³ She was buried at Mullendore Cemetery in Carroll Co., Indiana.³

     Catharine Kuns was born on 11 June 1817 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.^3,2 She married Jacob Musselman, son of John Musselman and Susanna Shively, on 3 March 1836 (the Wolf/Cripe genealogy says 13 March 1836) in Carroll Co., Indiana.^4,3,2 She died on 6 September 1850 in Carroll Co., Indiana, at age 33.^3,2 She was buried at the Wise Cemetery in Carroll Co., Indiana.^2,3

     David Kuns was born on 23 March 1820 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.² He married Margaret Lamb on 6 February 1845 in Carroll Co., Indiana.² He died on 12 February 1906 at his son Henry's home in Lordsburg (now Laverne), Los Angeles Co., California, at age 85.³ He was buried at the Pomona Cemetery in Pomona, Los Angeles Co., California.²
     He and his wife Margaret moved to Macon Co., Illinois, in 1854.² Two years later they moved to a 460-acre farm in Piatt Co., Illinois, where they planted 400 fruit trees, plus evergreen, ash, walnut, and chestnut trees, and improved the land for other types of farming.²

     Daniel Kuns was born on 14 June 1822 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.² He married Maria Leslie on 14 September 1839 in Tippecanoe Co., Indiana.³ He died on 25 September 1863 in Macon Co., Illinois, at age 41.³ He was buried at West Frantz Cemetery.⁴
     He and his wife Maria moved to Macon Co., Illinois, about 1856.² At a meeting held at their home on 26 May 1856, the Sangamon Valley congregation of the Church of the Brethren was formed, with Daniel and Maria as charter members. It was later learned that there was another congregation with that name, so the name was changed to Cerro Gordo, Macon County. In 1884 the congregation was divided geographically, with the name Cerro Gordo, Piatt County, used for the eastern part, and the name Oakley used for the western part.^2,5

     Henry L. Kuns was born on 30 December 1824 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.² He married first Susannah Shively, daughter of John Shively and Esther Ulery, on 9 February 1845 in Tippecanoe Co., Indiana.² He married second Caroline Spidel on 15 August 1848 in Carroll Co., Indiana.^3,2 He married third Mary Metzger, daughter of John Metzger and Hannah Ulery, on 24 August 1890 in Piatt Co., Illinois.² He died on 6 February 1893 in Lordsburg (now Laverne), Los Angeles Co., California, at age 68.² He was buried at East Frantz Cemetery in Unity Twp., Piatt Co., Illinois.⁴

     Barbara Kuns was born on 13 July 1829 in Carroll Co., Indiana.² She married John Heckman on 12 October 1848 in Carroll Co., Indiana.² She died on 21 February 1900 in Macon Co., Illinois, at age 70.³ She was buried at Frantz Cemetery in Oakley Twp., Macon Co., Illinois.²
     She and her husband John moved to Illinois in 1863.⁴
