     Andrew Metzger was born on 3 February 1814 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.² He married Barbara Ulery, daughter of John Ulery and Catharine Wolf, on 8 August 1838 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.³ He died on 21 March 1899 in Clinton Co., Indiana, at age 85.² He was buried at Old Order Cemetery.²

     Barbara Ulery was born on 15 May 1816 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.² She married Andrew Metzger on 8 August 1838 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.³ She died on 27 May 1902 in Clinton Co., Indiana, at age 86.² She was buried at Old Order Cemetery.²

     Esther Shively was born on 1 June 1839 in Tippecanoe Co., Indiana. (Her entry in the Wolf genealogy with her second husband Leonard Waggoner gives her birth date as 1 June 1849, but this must be a typo, based on the birth dates of her siblings and the date of her first marriage.)² She married first John Ulery, son of Samuel Ulery and Elizabeth Metzger, on 4 September 1853 in Tippecanoe Co., Indiana.³ She married second Leonard Waggoner, son of Jacob Waggoner and Barbara Wolf, on 15 April 1877.¹ She married third Joseph Felix on 4 March 1880 in Carroll Co., Indiana.³ She died on 29 April 1922 in Carroll Co., Indiana, at age 82.¹ She was buried at Pyrmont Cemetery in Carroll Co., Indiana.¹
     She and her first husband John had the following known children: Isaac (b 13 July 1854, d 1858), Susanna (b 13 October 1856, d 19 December 1929), Henry (b 9 August 1859, d 9 September 1898), Laura Ellen (b 12 January 1876, d 25 November 1939).⁴

     John Ulery was born on 29 June 1832 in either Montgomery Co., Ohio, or Tippecanoe Co., Indiana.¹ He married Esther Shively, daughter of John Shively and Esther Ulery, on 4 September 1853 in Tippecanoe Co., Indiana.¹ He died on 31 October 1875 at age 43.¹ He was buried at Pyrmont Cemetery in Carroll Co., Indiana.¹
     He and Esther had the following known children: Isaac (b 13 July 1854, d 1858), Susanna (b 13 October 1856, d 19 December 1929), Henry (b 9 August 1859, d 9 September 1898), Laura Ellen (b 12 January 1876, d 25 November 1939).³

     Joseph Felix was born in 1834.¹ He married Esther Shively, daughter of John Shively and Esther Ulery, on 4 March 1880 in Carroll Co., Indiana.¹ He died in 1927.¹

     David D. Blickenstaff was born on 17 April 1850 in Clinton Co., Indiana.¹ He married first Hannah Waggoner, daughter of Jacob Waggoner and Barbara Wolf, on 3 March 1868 in Clinton Co., Indiana.¹ He married second Fannie Nicewander on 17 September 1918.¹ He died on 6 April 1930 in Middletown, Indiana, at age 79.¹ He was buried at Pyrmont Cemetery in Carroll Co., Indiana.¹
     He and his first wife Hannah moved to Piatt Co., Illinois, by 1874.¹ They returned to Clinton Co., Indiana, by 1893.¹ They had the following known children: Amy (b 7 December 1868, d 15 April 1869), Owen E. (b 28 January 1870, d May 1918), Augustus J. (b 25 March 1872, d 11 February 1959), William E. (b 5 February 1874, d 12 May 1945), Eli E. (b August 1876, d 14 January 1962), Jesse W. (b 5 May 1879), Della Marie (b 20 September 1881, d 20 August 1977), Daniel L. (b 12 December 1883, d 17 December 1914), a daughter (b and d 16 February 1886), Lloyd Curtix (b 21 May 1893, d 18 January 1966).³

     Fannie Nicewander was born in 1870 in Rockingham Co., Virginia.¹ She married David D. Blickenstaff, son of Joseph Blickenstaff and Hannah Ulery, on 17 September 1918.¹ She died in 1960.¹

     Levi Funk was born on 1 July 1852 in Indiana.¹ He married Catharena Waggoner, daughter of Jacob Waggoner and Barbara Wolf, on 28 January 1875 in Piatt Co., Illinois.¹ He died on 11 February 1904 in Oklahoma at age 51.¹ He was buried in Conway Springs, Sumner Co., Kansas.¹
     He and his wife Catharena moved to Conway Springs, Sumner Co., Kansas, in 1884.¹ They had the following known children: Jacob (b 19 November 1877, d 22 February 1931), Edward (b 28 February 1883, d 1 March 1883), Manda (b 2 October 1882 (sic), d 9 August 1884), Viola (b 19 November 1885, d 4 March 1966), twins Mervin (b 30 May 1889, d 17 March 1952) and Melvin (b 30 May 1889, d 17 July 1956), Hannah (b 4 October 1891, d 17 September 1963).²

     Solomon Wolf was born on 27 January 1847.¹ He died on 29 August 1866 in LaPlace, Piatt Co., Illinois, at age 19.¹

     Elizabeth Wolf was born on 8 August 1852 in Clinton Co., Indiana.¹ She died on 8 September 1853 in Clinton Co., Indiana, at age 1.¹ She was buried at Blickenstaff Cemetery in Ross Twp., Clinton Co., Indiana.¹

     Eli Wolf was born on 28 January 1855 in Clinton Co., Indiana.² He married first Fannie Fern Friesner, daughter of Frederick Friesner, on 10 January 1878 in LaPlace, Piatt Co., Illinois.² He married second Mary Metzger, daughter of Andrew Metzger and Lydia Skiles, on 20 November 1892 in Carroll Co., Indiana.² He died of heart failure on 9 January 1926 at age 70.² He was buried in LaPlace, Piatt Co., Illinois.²
     He was known as "Black Eli" because he had a black beard, and also to distinguish him from his cousin Eli, who had a red beard and was known as "Red Eli."² After their marriage, he and his first wife Fannie lived on the 240-acre farm he had inherited. Later, when Fannie's health began to deteriorate, they moved into a house he built in LaPlace, Piatt Co., Illinois.² For several years before his death he suffered from spinal problems.²
     He and Fannie had the following known children: Oscar (b 11 October 1878, d 12 October 1878), Albert Ambrose (b 20 October 1880, d 4 April 1958), Mabel Olive (b 5 March 1883, d 6 July 1965), Nellie (b 6 October, d 4 September 1888), Fannie Fern (b 23 November 1889, d 27 June 1908).³ He and his second wife Mary had two known children, Owen M. (b 14 January 1894, d 22 February 1895) and Henry Earl (b 3 March 1896, d 1979). These children spelled their last name as "Wolfe."⁴

     David Wolf was born on 10 April 1858 in Clinton Co., Indiana.¹ He died on 22 May 1885 in LaPlace, Piatt Co., Illinois, at age 27.¹

     John Wolf was born on 8 October 1862 in Clinton Co., Indiana.¹ He died on 30 August 1881 in LaPlace, Piatt Co., Illinois, at age 18.¹

     Jacob George Wolf was born on 4 April 1870 in Piatt Co., Illinois.² He married first Mary Ellen Friesner on 27 September 1892 in Piatt Co., Illinois.² He married second Clara E. Stauffer, daughter of Emanuel Stauffer and Mary (?), on 25 December 1907 in Piatt Co., Illinois.² He died from a sudden heart attack on 14 November 1942 while helping a neighbor with some light carpentry work.² He was buried at Oak Lawn Cemetery in North Manchester, Wabash Co., Indiana.²
     His father died before he was born, and after his mother died in 1887, his sister Catharine and her husband Eli F. Wolfe became his guardians.²
     He and his second wife Clara moved to Decatur, Macon Co., Illinois, in 1919², and to North Manchester, Wabash Co., Indiana, in 1927.²
     He and his first wife Mary had two known children, Ray Friesner (b 23 July 1893, d 25 December 1983) and Ruth (d as an infant 22 July 1897).³ He and his second wife Clara also had two known children, Mary (b 6 November 1908) and Raphael (b 19 February 1913).⁴

     Fannie Fern Friesner was born on 15 July 1857.¹ She married Eli Wolf, son of Jacob Wolf and Hannah Shively, on 10 January 1878 in LaPlace, Piatt Co., Illinois.¹ She died from consumption on 8 December 1889 at age 32.¹
     After their marriage, she and her husband Eli lived on the 240-acre farm he had inherited. Later, when her health began to deteriorate, they moved into a house he built in LaPlace, Piatt Co., Illinois.¹ They had the following known children: Oscar (b 11 October 1878, d 12 October 1878), Albert Ambrose (b 20 October 1880, d 4 April 1958), Mabel Olive (b 5 March 1883, d 6 July 1965), Nellie (b 6 October, d 4 September 1888), Fannie Fern (b 23 November 1889, d 27 June 1908).²

     Mary Ellen Friesner was born on 21 November 1868.¹ She married Jacob George Wolf, son of Jacob Wolf and Hannah Shively, on 27 September 1892 in Piatt Co., Illinois.¹ She died of diabetes on 15 June 1903 at age 34.¹
     She and Jacob had two known children, Ray Friesner (b 23 July 1893, d 25 December 1983) and Ruth (d as an infant 22 July 1897).²

     Clara E. Stauffer was born on 14 March 1874 in LaGrange Co., Indiana.¹ She married Jacob George Wolf, son of Jacob Wolf and Hannah Shively, on 25 December 1907 in Piatt Co., Illinois.¹ She died on 12 September 1942 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana, at age 68.¹ She was buried at Oak Lawn Cemetery in North Manchester, Wabash Co., Indiana.¹
     She and her husband Jacob moved to Decatur, Macon Co., Illinois, in 1919¹, and to North Manchester, Wabash Co., Indiana, in 1927.¹
     They had two known children, Mary (b 6 November 1908) and Raphael (b 19 February 1913).²

     Jacob Metzger was born on 11 June 1819 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.¹ He married first Mary Magdalena Wolf, daughter of Leonard Wolf Jr. and Elizabeth Wagoner, on 16 February 1845 in Clinton Co., Indiana.¹ He married second Catherine Saltzman, daughter of Peter Saltzman and Susan (?), on 6 June 1858.¹ He died on 29 September 1914 at age 95.² He was buried at Middle Fork Cemetery in Clinton Co., Indiana.²
     He and his second wife Catherine had four or five children, including Anna, Leah, and twins Malinda and Catharine.¹

     Andrew S. Metzger was born on 2 March 1846 in Clinton Co., Indiana.² He married first Catharine Cripe, daughter of Jacob Cripe and Elizabeth Frantz, on 7 January 1866 in Wabash Co., Indiana.² He married second Mary Oaks, daughter of Daniel Oaks and Lydia Kuns, on 29 December 1872 in Moultrie Co., Illinois.² He died on 8 September 1921 in Clinton Co., Indiana, at age 75 from gangrene in his foot and leg.³ He was buried at Middlefork Cemetery in Ross Twp., Clinton Co., Indiana.²
     He and his first wife Catharine had the following known children, all born in Clinton Co., Indiana: Mary (b 26 January 1867, d 5 October 1843), Daniel D. (b 8 March 1860, d 2 August 1916), a daughter (b and d 19 December 1870).⁴ He and his second wife Mary had the following known children, all born in Clinton Co., Indiana: Phoebe (b 27 January 1874, d 10 November 1822), Lydia Catherine (b 2 February 1879, d 1 December 1959), Jacob H. (b 8 May 1885, d 3 October 1971).⁵
