At Glen Alpine, Antigonish on Jan. 23, 1918, of Mrs. Angus MacFarlane (Mary) daughter of the late Lauchlin MacDonald of Fraser's Mill and after her marriage resided at St. Andrew's until 5 years ago when she purchased the farm at Glen Alpine, on which she died. A family of three sons and one daughter survived her. Her remains were interred in the cemetery at South River. The youngest member of her father's family, the Rev. R. L. MacDonald, P.P. performed the service at the Church and grave.⁴
