My mother used Kenigsberg. However, I have papers from Europe with her name as Konigsberg. Mates signed out of Barsingerhorn as Konigsberg.

Mates KONIGSBERG and his young bride, Sara Vogel KONIGSBERG arrived in Palestine on August 3, 1936. They sailed from from Trieste to Jaffa on a ship named Galil, which was owned by the Italian company, Lloyd Triestino.

To all who were, in one way or another, involved in my quest to learn the fate of my uncle Mates KONIGSBERG, born in Tarnogrod, Poland on June 17, 1902.
Mates KONIGSBERG and his young bride, Sara Vogel KONIGSBERG arrived in Palestine on August 3, 1936. They sailed from from Trieste to Jaffa on a ship named Galil, which was owned by the Italian company, Lloyd Triestino.
Two people from Holland responded. They sent documentation from the Dutch Government showing that Mates Konigsberg and Sara Vogel were married in Barsingerhorn, Holland on June 12, 1936. On July 21, 1936, they are listed as leaving Barsingerhorn, Holland for Palestine.
