He is probably the George Tryon who was serving in the Revolution at White Plains, Westchester Co., New York, in a company made up "mostly of Wethersfield men."1

In August 1776 he was serving during the Revolution with other Wethersfield men on the ship Anne, headed for New York.1

He served during the Revolution as captain of the brig Jason. He later joined the newly-formed U. S. Navy, and served as Captain of the U. S. S. Connecticut against the Barbary pirates, and agaist French privateers in the West Indies.2,1

She and her second husband John Wyatt came to New England shortly after their marriage2, and settled in Ipswich, Essex Co., Massachusetts.2

He also went by the name Frank.3 The identification of Ida White as the wife of Francis Swikert, and of Frank R. as their son, is based on: (1) the marriage record for Robin Sturt and Lillie Swikert, which lists Frank Swikert and Ada White as Lillie's parents; and (2) the information and grouping of their markers in Thompsonville Cemetery in Benzie Co., Michigan. There are four markers at Block 100, Lot 373, Row 8n; one labeled simply "Swikert" identifying the group, one for Francis M. labeled "Father," one for Ida Swikert labeled "Mother," and one for Frank R.1,5
He and his wife Ida lived in Thompsonville, Benzie Co., Michigan.4,7,8 They had the following known children: Zada Bell (b April 1896), Lillie M. (b abt 1904), and Frank R. (b 21 March 1909, d 25 September 1909), plus at least one other (b and d bef 1900).1,4,7

He was a plowmaker in Hurst, Berkshire, England.1 His will, dated 12 April 1604, mentions his wife Elizabeth, who was named executrix, his daughter Elizabeth, son Andrew, and daughters Agnes and Alice, both minors.1
